Southern States, Inc: Hampton, GA - Georgia Hazardous Waste Management

REM-CON handled all hazardous waste treatment and disposal for the facility including the preparation of Annual TRI Reports and notifications required by the EPA. REM-CON replaced the filter media for the sand filtration units and cleaned/decommissioned all ASTs prior to disposal.  The pictures to the right and below are of the sludge dewatering unit used to treat cyanide/lead-contaminated sludge from the wastewater treatment system. REM-CON retrofitted this unit in 2000.
